Why listen to another political podcast? Because "Beyond Tuesday" is about all of us who care about politics but want to talk like normal people and not use to many phrases like "margin of error" and "strategic alliances." It's not that those phrases aren't important or useful. They just don't always help "the rest of us" wade through the often complex issues and questions facing our elected officials. "Beyond Tuesday" isn't about dumbing it down though. We're about making things understandable for regular folks who really care. This is about what happens the morning after the elections, when the local issues, budgets, public interest and decision-making kicks in. So give a listen...we think you'll get it. And we think you'll want more.

You've found "Beyond Tuesday." Here you'll get a fresh look at issues in politics beyond the banter of campaigns. After all, pretty much all of what really matters to our daily lives will happen after election day. That's why we want to go beyond election Tuesday and really look at the tough decisions facing our elected bodies from county commissions to Congress.

What can you expect from Beyond Tuesday? Well, we're a couple of guys who work in politics. We think everyone who wants to should at least get the chance to talk politics, even if they're not a Washington consultant. So, you'll hear us and some occasional guests talking about things we think are important. Each Wednesday we'll record a new episode covering everything from the latest issues states are dealing with to technology in politics to why we need more authenticity from our elected officials and less Hollywood showmanship. We're not liberal. We're not conservative. We're not even really that good at politics...yet. But we're gonna be honest. And we'll tell you what we think. Join us.
